georgiecoffey55 With a new double Wide Belt that has a skinny belt you wear in the loops of wide belt - could I cover the waist & make this inch or 2 shorter. I need a dress for 1 school event. I can wear black slouch boots to match belts ?? Will it work - I want to cover the ruched waist while shortening the dress.

lonna_spencer @georgiecoffey55 i believe thay would work. the fabric is a lightweight jersey so it should work to shorten with a wide belt. it isn't heavy fabric that would pull itself down by the weight.

georgiecoffey55 @lonna_spencer brilliant idea - I just saw some around here recently - this place is so small - constantly donating - who knows if I’ll find or just buy! Lonna I can not wear what I have - the children are my critics & their expectations are such that I can not wear something twice. Your sweaters were big hit this past weekend - that hooded beach cover up & your little gray spandex top was perfect partially tucked in - baseball game was hours in sun.
