This terra cotta plate has been hand painted with a beautiful wild black stallion alone in the desert. It's a cloudy night but behind those clouds is a bright white moon encircled by stars. He's standing guard over his mares, they're not too far away so he can easily run to them and protect them from danger. He's in the high desert, in the distance are several saguaro (swaro) cacti that stand like guards in the moonlight. The outer rim of the plate is black. The painting itself is black, blue, gray (grey) and white with a touch of peach on the clouds. The plate measures 10 3/4" at the outside rim and stands on an ornate off white folding table easel. The hands of the clock are gold and the motor is silent, so no click click click to keep you awake. Battery operated clock (battery not included).
