Real leather - more a stiff suede than a soft floppy - gives the jacket nice structure. Very clean and pampered item in my closet. Kept thinking to keep it, however, it has to go since I have to clear space in my closet and I hardly get an opportunity to wear this in Texas. I am petite, so I wore it with the sleaves folder over - however, if your arms are longer than mine, the sleaves should be fine for you. Fully lined. Size 12 is European - so locally it will translate to a Medium/Large (around size 10 US).
