Emmet Kelly Junior Vintage sculpture by Esco made in 1987. This is probably the most expressive Emmet Kelly Jr renditions I have ever seen. His tattered hat and jacket are reminiscentof a time he had seen better days and was perhaps a gentleman. . His face has a very realistic quality and even the texture of his hair can be seen and felt. This character reflects the sadness of the dispossessed from the depression era and the sadness and despair are palpable. Despite the sadness there is something comforting about this down on his luck character...perhaps there are better days ahead... He measures just under 12 inches high, 9.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches deep and weighs 6 lbs 3 oz. He is felted on the bottom
