Made up of faceted aurora borealis stones and green borealis stones that reflect flashes of rainbow colors. This is from early 90’s, and is a rare, limited edition piece. It is numbered, number 06 of 500. I’ve had this since 2007, and just had it as a pretty display piece, it was never worn by me. It is in perfect condition. Beautiful, beautiful piece.

jillatrabbit Gorgeous! but I can't afford to give that bug away!!! Although, I probably spend more than that on one kiddo, especially those that go through treatments for years!

mokosattic @jillatrabbit aww that’s so nice. I bet you do.I know isn’t this one amazing?I bought it years ago at an auction, had it displayed a long time. Now trying to downsize, and found out how rare it is.I probably won’t get anywhere near this for it, but just posted and didn’t want it to just be gone haha. I’ve got a few other bug brooches I can give you at a low cost if you are interested.most I’ve had for years, but just don’t go anywhere to wear anymore. Just like any you see and I can bundle. Thanks!

jillatrabbit @mokosattic I will take a more detailed look, I have been ill for so long, 6 weeks! I have gotten over surgery faster than this viral infection that it seems as though my husband and I have passed back and forth. I have not even been out of my home, he has endured driving to and from the pharmacy. I ate nothing but toast and peanut butter, even brought a chair into the kitchen to sit and wait for the toaster. Whatever we had, went into our GI system and kidneys, it has been brutal.

mokosattic @jillatrabbit oh gosh! I’ve had it too.in October, I randomly woke up in the middle of the night, with terrible back pain. Thankfully, called ambulance. Turned out being a random, severe pneumonia that had gotten septic already. I wasn’t even sick yet. I spent 8 days in the hospital, antibiotics completely destroyed my stomach. Dr said I wouldn’t have made it had I not gone right to the hospital.I’d say just the last month have I been able to eat anything other than roast, bread and potatos.
