jgenone All is well in my world, how are you doing? I spent two months going through all the flower containers I have in storage and bundling all the similar flowers together. Before retiring in 2014 I’d spend Sundays at Michael’s and pick up discounted flowers and floral arrangements with deep discounts.

jgenone After retiring I’d spend discount Tuesdays at “Savers” second hand store and pick up donated wreaths and florals. Around September I’d rework some of my seasonal collection and submit it to a a “senior”second hand store where they’d pay 100% of the sale. Fun! But time to reorganize and clean the containers and storage unit!

jgenone So now I’m ready to clean and organize a second storage unit that has boxes and boxes of florals that I’ve made! I change out the florals in my house every time I change out my fireplace mantle. I buy your flowers, not because I need them, but because I like them - just as I buy jewelry from craftsmen, even though I have thousands of jewelry pieces I’ve made. I never sell someone else’s work - but I keep it and enjoy it!

jgenone @freyca14 - Michaels sells their remaining floral arrangements cheap when it past the season. Or at least they used to, I haven’t been checking since COVID. I did just stop at Joanne’s last week, and their remaining wreaths and florals from spring and summer were 80% off. They had them outside in big bins. But the original price of the wreaths was $39, $49 and $59 - and the wreath is made of wrapped twigs instead of grape vines.

jgenone BTW - I have this arrangement in my living room at the moment, about five feet from where I sit and work, and it’s really pretty. Is bright and cheerful, and keeps catching my attention! Especially since the skies have been overcast and the winds absolutely fierce lately!
