Great creamy knit acrylic cardigan from McBriar Sportswear. Genuine mid-century modern vintage and fairly unique piece—I spent a good deal of time on the internet but couldn’t find anything similar. This is a classic 1950-1960s cardigan of medium weight yarn for warmth and maintenance of its shape. Ribbing on the collar, cuffs, and hem eliminates any chance of unwanted sagging. Fisherman-knit-like pattern on the upper front gives visual texture and adds to the classic appeal. 6 large wooden buttons hold the front closed, or can be unbuttoned for a more casual appearance. Front pockets. This timeless piece works with any number of styles. Would look great with jeans for school or casual social activities. Add boots and a cowboy hat for a rustic cowgirl aesthetic. Pair with vintage pieces like pencil skirts or sweater dresses for a business casual vibe. A great sweater with true vintage pedigree. I was born in 1954 and remember these being worn by just about everyone. Washes easily and dries quickly. Perfect for traveling. Good used condition with no holes, spots, snags, or sags.
