My husband only walked in them around the house for a few minutes and decided they don't fit him right. The sticker on the front says wide fit and the inside is labeled Salomon Ortholite. The shoes overall feel pretty light and the tread looks like it should be grippy. Salomon has three models of this shoe: low, mid and high top. This is the low top version.
