Pair of Vintage Hand Embroidered Pillowcases, floral design

Step back in time and embrace the vintage charm of these hand embroidered pillowcases. For those of us who watched our grandmothers hand stitch, these bring back warm nostalgic memories most certainly. Hand stitched embroidery in colors of blues, greens and pinks. Motif is a design of flowers, stems, and leaves. Photos show both the front view and inside view of the needle work. Size: Each pillowcase measures approximately 31“ x 19.25.” These measurements are close to a queen size pillowcase. Fabric: The fabric appears to be some type of muslin. There is no fabric content tag available. Condition: These preowned pillowcases are in good vintage condition. There are no rips or tears. There is one area with a small stain/discoloration. Also, there is a place that could be a small “dot” of ink on the front of one case. Please refer to photos. The pillowcases were stored in a linen closet for many years and have an aged look and feel. They definitely evoke memories of watching my grandmother stitch similar things in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. The cases have been left in vintage condition and have not been recently washed or ironed. Cleaning, if desired, will be left up to the buyer.
