@shahed_ash thank you for the reply. Those are odd measurements for a zero. I am a 27 waist 35-36 hips. May I ask if you have worn the item and what your waist/hip measurements are. I really want this, but am concerned the pants will be too large.

@daltgilb hello sorry for the confusion !
This is just the width of the waist measured across
So to get the measurement you would multiply that number by two so the waist should be around 32 and the hip should be around 34
I wish unfortunately they don’t fit me around my hips :,) because this is a vintage piece it runs a little small I hope that helps !
If you want to make sure they fit I would try to measure one of your pants across and see how wide they are 👌

@shahed_ash thank you for all of the detailed information! I understand that 16 inches across is a 32 waist. That is rather large for a 0. That's why I was asking if you think they would fit a 27 based on yur experience. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

@daltgilb hello again, so the pants are low waisted if you want you can get a tape and measure yourself where low waisted pants would hit you. Because you’re at 27 at your waist but it’s not gonna be right at your waist.
I think that would be the best idea bc I’m I don’t really know your measurements I wear 27 sometimes even 25 but I have wider hips and thighs so they don’t fit me you know what I mean.
