Great vintage find!
Uniform-style short-sleeve shirt with epaulets and two front pockets just like the leisure suits of the 1970s. Two rows of tucks in front and three in back. Tapered waist for a flattering fit. Attractive shade of blue similar to cornflower.
Medium-weight polyester that was popular in the 1970s because of its durability and wash-and-wear feature.
This shirt is so versatile. It can be worn as a uniform/work shirt, over a tee or muscle shirt, under a denim or suit jacket, or by itself when you want to channel that 1970’s airline pilot or postal worker vibe.
Flying Cross has been producing quality clothing since 1842, and its products are known for excellent construction, durability, and comfort. Flying Cross has supplied shirts and other apparel to several branches of the military, the USPS, numerous police and fire departments, airline associations, security guards, EMTs, etc.
You will look neat and professional while remaining stylish and comfortable.
This shirt was purchased in a lot of NOS unsold shirts but this one has lost its tags. (Others with tags will be listed.) It is in unworn condition with no signs of damage or bad storage.
Smoke-and pet-free environment.
Size 17 1/2. Measurements: Chest: (pit to pit): 26”. Waist: 24”. Nape to hem: 34”. Please feel free to ask any questions.
