It’s a waterproof type material in the outside, and a nice grey color. Inside is a warm fleece material. I would consider this jacket a fall/light winter jacket, as it’s warm but not super heavy. There’s a hidden rain hood in the zipper part by the neck area. I’ve only worn this once. It’s length is about mid-thigh
