Pyrex Ovenware dish in the Early American pattern. Vintage from the 1960s. Made in USA. Size: 1 1/2 Quart; Approximately 8” Wide from handle to handle and 3.5” Height with lid. Condition: May contain some scuffs due to age and use. There is no fading to the pattern. No chips, cracks, or major noticeable scratches. There is a scuff mark on the clear glass lid, not a scratch though- appears as if it could come off. History: Introduced in 1962, the Early American pattern was advertised as the “theme of the decade” and touted as “the most popular decorating theme of the decade.” Both of these statements proved to be true as it was one of the longest running Pyrex patterns. In 1971, after almost 10 years, the Early American Pattern was discontinued. It remains a highly sought after by novices and collectors.
