For size reference, this was modeled on a small mannequin, you can see that it's very big. Modcloth dress, new with tags in their plastic bag. Plaid, dark blue or black, it's hard to tell, with colorful plaid design. It looks like the pics. Sleeveless, white collar, with a fabric tie that goes around it, has a belt loop in the back under the collar. Five buttons going down the front that work, loose pleat on each side for a blousy look. Stitched waist with loose pleats on each side, side pockets, zipper on left side. Belt loops on both sides, matching fabric belt. The back has darts coming up from the waist on the back, and below the waist have two loose pleats on each side, full skirt. Pit to pit is 20 ", length is 38", hits around the knee. Polyester, rayon, and spandex, the fabric has a soft feel, a little thicker. No stretch, but does have a little give to it. Size women's 16. Perfect dress for the office, work or business wear. Would look great with a top under it, swap out the belt and tie, could be worn year round. Very nice
