my07mdx Hello! OD’d question, but do you know what the base metal is? I’m interested in this piece because I am an Optician and have a silver ring and earrings. No offense to you or the late Ms Spade, but I would have to have the gold color filed off… hoping that a silver tone metal lay beneath.. Thank you

atlasgemsusa @my07mdx sorry I just saw this, usually costume jewelry is gold plated over copper over bass. so I think it would be best to have it RHODIUM plated over the gold. to get the silver white gold look you want. I was a jeweler for 27 years. that's just a suggestion.
