Hermès Daimyo Princes Du Soleil Levant Scarf 100% Silk Made in France Measures ~35.5”x35.5” Backstory: The Daimyo were military lords in Japan from the tenth to the nineteenth centuries. They held land, built castles, and controlled armies of Samurai. The scarf shows Samurai swords with emblems for the different Daimyo families. This scarf features Hermès’ famous jacquard weave meaning that the silk itself has a special pattern directly woven – in this case ginkgo leaves, taken from the pattern in the centre of the scarf. An authentic, rare, and timeless piece in excellent condition.
