Automatic movement watch. Bought online this for my husband, but he didn't want it. I'm not sure how great it is. Just know it works when I put on and worn around. I'm not a professional watch, or jeweler I just paid over $700 for it. I have no original box or manual come with it. plz ask for more pictures or questions if needed. sold as is. Happy Poshing

Is it real Cartier?
anniebenji
@josseromo, I have no idea. I just hope it is. I bought it online auction two years ago for my husband's bday after winning against a lot of bids. but he wanted a metal band watch. so it is in my closet since. I'm selling it as is. it's up to you to get it authenticate or not. It moves when you wear it and stops when not being worn. I could have posted over $500 so PM could authenticate it for me, but it would take time and efforts so I'm selling this price just to get it out of my closet.

@anniebenji Hi, unfortunately I don’t think this is an authentic Cartier Santos. I don’t know of any Santos reference with a date that looks like that and at the 12:00 position (if there’s a date window it’s at the 6:00 position). Also, the screw positions on the case back should mimic the screws on the front. Your piece has two different kinds of screws also. A new Cartier Santos retails for $7k-$11k+. Thanks

Fake!!! remove this watch

@brianwalsh932, plz read the description. I took my chance buying this online with no return policy. paid around $700, unsure what to do with it. definitely don't want to buy or sell fake items. not sure about its policy for just selling a men's watch. Are you the professional watch expert or jeweler? should i post higher over $500, give buyers chance have PM authenticate the watch, allow the return policy? my items sold here are things sat in the closest too long this one's one of them.

@the_nightshade, THANK YOU so much for the explanation. do you think someone will buy it as it is, where to sell it, or how much for just to recuperate my purchase? I paid around $700 for it two yrs ago
Not a collector. my husband didn't like it so it sits in closet since. It works when I put on and worn but stop when it sits in drawer. overall, it is a pretty watch. thanks again for taking time to educate me. I don't know its authenticity, so is it ok just sell it as Men's watch. pls help.

@josseromo I am not really sure. I can send you more pictures when back from traveling on 3/13. I sell as it as is with the price is much less than the definite, authenticate one (as one our fellow poshmarkers explained in his comment below). plz take you chance or just accept it's not. It is pretty, moves when worn or shake, and heavy, that's all i know. I just don't have any use or can't wear it. Yours if the offer is right. Happy Poshing.
