Raw Agates from West Africa

This is a collection of raw unpolished agates. The photos will show the general size/proportion of the group of rocks which were formed in the Atlantic Ocean millions of years ago and deposited on the beaches of Monrovia, Liberia. All of the references of agates and the locations where to find them do not include West Africa at all! However I don’t need documentation of their authenticity because in the late 1970’s my mom and I found them on the beach. We lived in West Africa for two years, during that time we often went to the coast to look for agates. What else was there to do? No television or cell phones - we didn’t even have a regular phone! Anyways after over 48 years I think I’m ready to sell my unpolished agates to a rock hound, collector, or even a person with West African heritage.
