Like new condition lehenga for sale. I wore this for about 2.5 hours for a wedding event in India. It’s stunning in person, loved the fabric and print so much and got lots of compliments. jesshathaway @celinabraham hello! I’m 5’4” and wore short 1.5” heels with it. There was a fair amount of length still left at the bottom—if this event hadn’t been a primarily sitting one, I definitely should’ve gotten it shortened, but as is, it’s the length from the manufacturer so hasn’t been altered!

ladybrow I’m 5’3! I can’t walk in heels will have to get the bottom shortened for sure!! I know you posted the waist measurements from the manufacturer but they’re not always an accurate representation. What is your waist measurement so I can compare to my own

ladybrow There’s a smaller gap in the midriff area exposed in the way you wore it versus the stock photos did you feel like this was easy to wear high waisted and up just it up and down in other words did you find that it stayed out exactly where you placed it around the waist is it held up by an elastic band or just a zipper so it’s not adjustable around the waist ?

ladybrow I like the dress but I’m worried about the fit around the waist can you post close up photos of how this is held up around the waist? Also did you find it was a heavy material? What is the fabric made of? Is it a fabric that wrinkles and you have to iron?

ladybrow From the photo of you wearing it the pink shawl and bottom of the dress look very wrinkled but I’m not sure if that’s due to how hard the fabric Is to iron or if it’s because you just wore it straight out of the package and the wrinkling was due to packaging can you please clarify

ladybrow In the wreck photos the shawl looks like a brighter bubble gum pink but in your photo it looks more mauve could just be the lighting which one do you think is a better accurate representation of the color in real life

jesshathaway @ladybrow hi there, will attempt to answer all of your questions here! My waist is about 25.5”-26” so it fit pretty true to size. In terms of fit, I agree the midriff area is longer in the model photos, but I have a shorter torso myself so it might just be the way it fit on me. But it stayed up just fine. It’s a flat fabric band with a zipper and hooks.

jesshathaway @ladybrow I did wear this after traveling to India so it was difficult to get all wrinkles out while traveling—if I had been able to properly steam or have it pressed, I think the fabric would have smoothed out a lot. According to the designer, the fabric is “lurex” on the skirt and blouse, organza on the dupatta, and a butter crepe lining. The color is a light lavender/pink in person. The manufacturer photos have better lighting than the indoors event. Hope this helps!

tigersnstardust Hi - Lurex and organza aren’t really a fabric content, organza is a weave and can be made of silk or polyester and lurex describes the metal threads put in the fabric, not the fabric itself . What is the actual fabric content? Thank you
