Dimensions: approximately 5.75" tall x 4" wide x 3.25" deep Colors: black, brown This handcarved black "Siamese" (aka Oriental Black) cat has an interesting face and I love him all the more for it! One eye is angled up while the other is horizontal--he looks like a wise, scraggly Picasso. The angels of his body are wonderful too, with deep curves; he's simply a work of art! I believe he's ironwood--a smooth, heavier wood. He has a black finish with patches of brown bleeding through, making him even more interesting. Finally, there's a small nick on his left ear, adding to the feeling that he's been around the block (and through the alley). though you'd never notice it, unless really looking for it. This fellow is searching for a real home, one where he can hopefully sit comfortably upon a shelf, a table or the mantel. He would look fantastic perched on top of a stack of smaller books too. And he's perfect for every decor. I do not know the maker or the age of this cat but I would guess he's vintage. Second photo is of an Oriental Black cat. Crosslisted.
