The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life In The Universe - signed copy

Very rare 1st edition hard back book that is signed by both Lily Tomlin and her partner, Jane Wagner. Back in the 80's and 90's I resided in Santa Monica, California. I was a struggling comedienne. In the late 80's saw Lily Tomlin live perform her one woman show written for her by her partner, Jane Wagner. Also in the late 80's, I was thrilled to learn that they were both going to be at Samuel French Bookstore (closed 2019) on Hollywood Blvd to sign a copy of the book. They only allowed a few people to stand in line as Lily only wanted to sign but so many copies. I waited about an hour and spoke with both Lily and Jane. Lily was grumpy, lol, but my goodness Jane was the sweetest person I met in awhile; I appreciated her kind words as I told her that I was trying to be a stand-up comic.
