Warm 1942 Army coat in olive green with matching olive green satin lining. Coats like this were made for high ranking US Army Officers (colonels) in the WWII era.
This is a double breasted Mackinaw style coat with a belt. It is rare to have a belt with this type of coat. It has flap pockets at the waist. There is one slip inside pocket that can hold a cell phone. There is a single split at the back. There are shoulder straps that could accommodate epaulettes.
There are moth bits throughout the coat. The worst moth bites are on the belt which are not visible when you close the belt. There is about one inch tear on the inside lining and a few other imperfections . No officer's name. In very good vtg condition .
Coat can be worn as a men's small short coat or a women's medium coat. Can also be added to a military clothing collection.
