Richard Erker was a Greenwich Village NYC jewelry designer in the 70s and 80s for the likes of Cher, La Belle, Billy Idol and many other celebrities of that era. He passed away in 2004. Richard Erker, was an East Village resident and jewelry designer for over 35 years, is known by top fashion designers for his distinctive jewelry and body pieces. He has created collections and designed for Ralph Lauren, Sean John, BASCO, Perry Ellis, Stephen Sprouse, Randolph Duke, Adrienne Vittadini, Isak Mizrahi just to name a few. Richards work continues to be featured in some of the worlds most respected fashion magazines and in runway shows, especially in Europe. Erkers skull necklace was recently featured on the cover of the February 2009 Italian Vogue.
