Free People Cropped Denim Jacket runs smaller than a 4

This Free People cropped denim jacket is in great shape. I believe the size runs smaller than a 4. I wear a size 4-6 and it's tight. this is closer to a 0 or 2. armpit to armpit 16" shoulder to bottom hem 15" I don't think that the patches are original.
