v99ciardello @kmp3405 I took it to a jeweler this morning who certified that it was gold but said that often antique rings in thin fine settings did not bear hallmarks due to band space. The ring was also bought at a reputable jeweler abroad.

v99ciardello @kmp3405 I believe it to be 18 Carats as it is European, likely English, where less was not common in antique rings. Note that the original box is from Harrod's of London Fine Jewelry, a super reputable store.
