gv_iris @keriida Yes, I definitely would say you can put it in the washing machine. I do not know if it will shrink or not, though. I did not make it, so I'm not sure what type of yarn was used. I am assuming it is polyester, or a blend. Thank you for contacting me! 😀

gv_iris o sorry for the delay in my reply! I would consider this a heavy afghan. Not thin like a baby blanket would be. Comfy and cozy for snuggling on the sofa, or curled up reading a book.
