SOLD 1930’s Bridal Trousseau 100% Silk Peignoir Set Nightgown Robe Art to Wear

Heirloom Vintage 1930’s Bridal Trousseau Silk Peignoir Set Nightgown and Robe Channeling the Greek Goddess Athena. This is a piece of collectible, wearable art! This was purchased from Salon of the Dames in 2016 and has been safely stored and unworn since. Please note that this item is nearing a Century in age and does have minor reflections of its age. Based on age it’s condition is remarkable. There is a 1cm mark on the middle of the skirt at the back. A small amount of fray near straps. I measured the gown flat at the empire waist lace inset. I get 14" flat with approx 1/2 to 1 inch "give". Unfortunately, there are no additional closures to provide extra wiggle room to get the gown on. I would say modern XS at the most for the gown. The robe has extra room.
