Rare RARE Antique Dutch Glass African Trade Beads

EXTREMELY RARE..These are a strand of all Antique late 1800s Dutch Cobalt Glass with fired on orange enamel trade beads. Made in Holland for the African trade. Never traded. These are very heavy. They're on a sturdy old silk cord and measure approximately 26" in length. They would hold up as a necklace or they could be restrung, if desired by the new owner. Each bead is Unique and has a personality of its own. You can see the swirls & only in light do you see the true Cobalt color. That's why I photographed the hanging pictures outside. The beads vary in size however, the average would be around .75" across. These were a barn find. The Meyer family, originally from Holland, were moving from their home in Brevard, NC to another state & had a family collection from Holland stored in their barn that they had never used & just wanted to downsize.
