This is a very old, vintage (possibly from the 40’s or 50’s) longline corset/girdle. Inside is stamped Nylon 34. Inside corset closes with 8 hook and eye and the outside corset covering closes with 18 hook and eye. There are hard (boning??) supports on the inside front of the corset as well as on the back of the outside corset covering. It is a soft peach/tan. There is some discoloration on the side mesh insets as well as on the inside corset. There are no rips or tears. The tag reads Merit Foundations. I stuffed the garment with pillows to get an idea of the actual size and have shown the measurements in the photos. I’ve also shown the measurements with the garment laying flat.
