Vintage GIEN FRANCE "Les Brochettes" Skewers Kebab Serving Dishes Plates

Beautiful vintage skewers kebab serving dishes "Les Brochettes" by Faiencerie Gien France A fantastic set of brochettes (BBQ skewers) plates and platter, each with a recipe in French. This set is brilliant with wonderful recipes, the dishes have indentations at the sides to hold the barbecue skewers correctly. This set is a "must" for any barbecue lover, a really professional way to present and serve your "brochettes". The set consists of: One Large Square Serving Dish measuring 8" square (top) 4.75" square (bottom), 2" deep . It is illustrated with the Names of Skewer (Brochette) Recipes on the Smaller Dishes, alongside the same illustrations to match. Two Small Serving Dishes measuring about 6.5" x 4.25", again with regions and illustrations to match set Four Recipe Dishes with Different "Skewer" Recipes measuring approximately 8½"x 6¾". Each with a charming illustration of a person from the area where the skewer recipe originates. Each one holds one skewer. Hand Painted design plates represent different regional recipe. Includes: × Brochette Bourguignon (Burgundy Skewer) × Brochette Suisse (Swiss skewer), × Brochette Bressanne (Bressanne Skewer) × Brochette Provançale (Provançale Skewer) In very good vintage condition, shows general fine glaze crazing, typical for all Gien France pieces. Two images show crazing on the side of the large dish and one of the small dishes, these were the "worst" instances I could find, and they are barely noticeable.
