Quite stunning 😍 indeed! Great hand etched floral pattern, though not completely identically which is also charming and that gorgeous luscious cranberry finish is still quite vivid and in great condition as well. NO chips-cracks and minimally used.

This could be glass from the 1860 to 1870 period by Mary Gregory who was employed by the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. The scenes often portray butterflies or children. Nice antiques to own.

@marymax999518 My Mary knows quite a bit about Mary Gregory! Thanks so much 🙏 for your input! I stray from labeling unless I have hard evidence for I would hate to misrepresent a piece. I see it done so much& had bought so many pieces believing what I read (Ha my early days of buying off E bay) so many pieces I thought to be were not. Love ❤️ your notes & tips it does help tremendously!

Glad to be of help to you. I have a reference book for antiques so I researched it once again as a few months ago I purchased a Mary Gregory small cranberry color item. I wanted to give you accurate information.
It is very pretty and the woman I bought from wanted to sell so I got a great deal.
German made Meissen is the highest quality porcelain from that country but some of the crossed swords markings are fakes.
My friend and her husband had some beautiful Italian porcelain 😆

Your closet has some lovely pieces. If I recognize something as mislabeled I would let you know. Also if you find Rosewood Pottery or Weller better get it if reasonable.
I believe honesty is important in sales and I trust you. I have purchased items from you and I know you are an honest good person.

Thank you for your kind remarks. When I was growing up in MA, one of my brothers visited Japan for a month and brought me back a kimono and my mother beautiful Noritake. Ever since then I have loved porcelain and kimonos. 😊

My brother also brought back 2 Japanese porcelain dolls in beautiful red kimonos trimmed in gold thread. He spent a lot on the 2 dolls so I wasn’t allowed to play with them as I was about 6 years old. I used to take them out of their box when my mother was busy and touch the clothes and porcelain, lol.
I just loved those dolls and their beautiful kimonos. 😊
