Beautifully ornate chocolate pot pitcher with lid. Cobalt blue border at tops, bottoms and handle, Vinous leave motif in between borders in gold leaf on cream and sky blue ombre background. The only marking is inside the lid. I cannot make out the name but it looks like it says 1948 at the end. The stylized gold indicates this is probably a piece from Japan after the end of the Nippon Era. There is a fine line crack going from the opening down the bottom of the handle on one side. The gold is started to fade on the rounded parta of the design from rubbing off during use. I tried to show all this in photos. Measures approximately 9.5"H x 5" x 7"
