Vintage 1970s Aldrich Tomato Red V Neckline Hostess Dress Pockets / Gold Buttons

Extremely Rare and absolutely beautiful condition, no marks, stains or holes to this vintage 1970 Aldrich (Larry Aldrich) hostess/cocktail dress with pockets. Features: Split v-neckline Gold button trim front accents **(they are all different and I cannot be certain they are all the original buttons) Short sleeve style Two front slant pockets at side seams Fully lined dress Center back zipper, easy on and off Standing neck collar Material appears to be wool No Size Tag Vintage size 12-14 (this is based on the Measurements that are used in the McCall’s Dress pattern below. Please compare to Measurements shown in last photo as vintage sizing runs at least 2 sizes larger than modern. Included below are the Mccall’s Dress Pattern details shown (there are two versions of this dress - mine is 2445B which is lined and does not include a belt. Version A includes a belt and is unlined. Style and shape are identical and why the model photo is shown. Note: McCalls 2445 Misses' Dress comes in Two Versions. Lined dress has center back zipper, high standing neck and pockets in front seams (Dress B). Dress A has belt and button trim fronts.
