Strasburg Smocked Ivory Dupioni Silk GOWN 3/6 Months Special Occasion GORGEOUS

This Smocked Ivory Dress is Exquisite! One of Strasburg's original Dupioni Silk Dresses.The Dress is a beautiful Creamy/ivory Hue. The natural texture of the silk is gorgeous.The Peter Pan collar has a matching silk piping. Entire bodice is smocked with a lattice design embroidery done in a matching ivory/cream hue. 3D embroidery sits atop the smocking and lattice work. Lovely diamond shapes are outlined with French bullion rosebuds with full bullion flowers centered in each diamond. Smaller diamond shapes sit between the larger ones and are done in bullion rosebud stitching and having a rose bullion in the center of each. The beautiful skirt gathers at the bottom of the smocking and each side has two vertical rows of 3- double stitched pintucks (a sweet extra element). The short puff sleeves gather with a matching 1/2" silk band. The back has a yoke with a button closure done in matching silk fabric covered buttons(a high-end detail). \A matching tie-back sash makes for the perfect fit. The dress is fully lined except for the sleeves. A double layer of lining at the bottom adds the perfect amount of volume.The perfect length for a formal baby dress without the fuss of a longer gown.Great for Weddings, Portraits or other Special Occasions.
