Angélique was the happiest duck in all of France. She lived in a beautiful garden on one of the prettiest streets in Paris. She loved to walk, to smell the lilacs in spring, and to take a bath in a large bowl.
Then one day, Coco, a black poodle, comes to stay and suddenly EVERYTHING CHANGES. An-
embourg Gardens when tired Angélique is just about to fall asleep that she meets a big cat and a brave little sparrow. With a surprising and very happy outcome for all, Angélique learns that
"one must defend one's home" and that running away is never a solution.
If you have ever visited Paris, or it you have ever dreamed of strolling along its streets and boulevards, you will be enchanted by ANGÉLIQUE and by the very Parisian, very charming pictures by Roger Duvoisin.
