                Edwardian Pansy flower convertible brooch designed by Crane Theurer Inc.
An exceptional piece, created in America during the Edwardian and the Art Nouveau periods, back in the 1900's. This outstanding convertible pendant-brooch has been carefully crafted by Crane Theurer in the shape of a pansy flower in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with satin and polished finishes. It is embellished with applications of glossy glass enamel, with colors gradations of purple, black, yellow and white. The enamel work is exceptional and meticulous, far exceeding the details of the fibers and veins of the leaves. It is a little jewel with exquisite and exceptional details, Pansies flowers symbolize a hope that love should not be forgotten.
It is fitted at the reverse with a horizontal hinged pin bar with a hook to wear as a brooch and a mechanical retractable swivel ring to wear in a chain as a pendant.
Diamond: Mounted in the center in a six-prongs setting, with 1 old European rose cut diamonds, 0.15 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2/SI-1 clarity.
Pearls: The border of the petals are mount in flush setting, with 66 round gray/white pearls of about 1 mm each one.
Weight: 11.95 Grams (7.66 Dwt).
Measurements: 32 mm by 31 mm by 7 mm (1.26 x 1.22 x 0.28 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's monogram mark associated to Crane Theurer, the mark for the assay of the gold, the inventory model numbers and signed, "TC 14KT 671".
