Beautiful, soft and warm, this vintage 1950s inspired cardigan features a cable-knit pattern and mother-of-pearl buttons. It is cropped and has a shirt collar. The colour is mustard, but not like the stuff you put on your hotdogs i.e. not Heinz mustard but rather a light honey-mustard or a home-made dijon. The fabric tag is missing but a google search of the exact same sweater reveals that it's an Angora, lambswool and nylon blend. (google VINTAGE Fred David, yellow grandmacore wool blend collar cardigan sz medium‎ and you'll see, it will show up on Poshmark Canada). This makes sense, as it is very soft, a bit fuzzy and stretchy while keeping you warm. I love this sweater, but it's a bit too small for me. There may be a bit of very slight shrinkage relative to a new item, but this would be normal wear for an item of this age. It's almost 40 years old, so I would say it's in excellent vintage condition, considering. The size tag is cut, but you can see the top of the M for medium.
