There's an extra button to cinch the waist (see photo) if you're more of an hourglass shape. Approx. measurements: rise: 11" waist: 13.5" (can be cinched tighter w/ button) hip: 19" inseam: 27.5" ankle/leg opening: 7.5" 98% cotton, 2% elastane. Marked size 2. They no longer fit me so I'm passing these along. Lots of life left in them! I always washed these on cold and line dried per the care instructions on the tag.
