This particular addition of Walt Whitman‘s leaves of grass was planned by Richard Ellis, and produced under his direction. The illustrations by Lewis C Daniel were reproduced in Similetone and Intaprint by Zeese Wilkinson company of Long Island city. The paper was specially made for this new addition by the PH Glatfeller company of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania . Composition printing and binding by the Haddon craftsman of Camden New Jersey.
FAIR CONDITION
Foxing on both inside boards (which I love!)
A bit of wear to the label on the spine
No rips, or tears, or writing, other than the label inside from the gifter .
AND IT HAS THAT WONDERFUL “OLD BOOK SMELL “ that I don’t want to even THINK OF REMOVING when you flip the pages or open the book .
Illustrated pages are in wonderful condition
Beautiful colors and interesting to come upon
Spine is away just a bit

@dream_deferred hi Shannon, commenting here since I don't receive messages from you in your bundle for some reason. I did receive the message the other day under my closet info. Please feel free to comment here or make your offer. This particular item is not a good bundle item for your other likes as it weighs more than 3 pounds. I'm sure as a posher yourself you understand that combining it with a fragile item that needs very special packaging care it would quickly exceed allowed 5 lbs.
