Beautiful handmade jar with aged cork lid. This studio pottery jar would look stunning styled on a shelf or used to hide your stash, like tea. In good vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Made of a weighty earthenware ceramic, and would have been originally been a storage pot used for the sale of everyday food items, often referred to as a ‘mustard pot’. It is deep and cylindrical, with a wide, circular mouth, and is glazed with a high shine. Artist Signed. The pot still contains its original cork. which fits well.
