Purchased new for prom. -This was shortened, and serged at the bottom. See photos. You can see that the hem looks a little rough after being worn one time. This is not noticeable (in my opinion) when wearing. -It was shortened for someone who is 5’1”. She wore green Ariat boots with the dress, which have a typical boot heel. It was still long with boots. Someone who is 5’3” could easily wear this with flats. -We crossed the straps, but they are meant to be tied like the stock photo shows. -Dress is machine washable. I washed it after wearing with Woolite detergent. The underlay still looks a little dirty. There is a little fabric bleed on the top. See photo.
