This vintage silver-gold beaded slipper or pointed toe shoe with a brass pull zipper is lined with whie silk. The interior label reads "Made in Japan." The sole of the slipper appears more gold, whereas the top appears more silver or pewter. It's lovely! Some say these rare vintage coin purses were handmade in Japan in the 1920s; other say the 1960s. Whichever, it's a darling way to carry your lipstick, some coins, or some mad money. Some people use them on their wedding day to hold the rings and if you're popping the question, it's definitely a more interesting way to present the ring than a cardboard box.
