Beautiful, never used, cobalt blue and gold cup/saucer. 14K gold, hand painted, floral scrolling on a cobalt blue and white bone china base. Lightly fluted edges on both cup and saucer are both rimmed in gold as is footed base on cup and cup handle. Numbered and stamped on bottom. Made in England. This set is from my personal collection. As far as I know it was never used. In almost perfect condition. This is a discontinued piece. The cobalt blue in this series is harder to find. 5.5 inch diameter saucer. 3” tall cup. 3.5 inch diameter cup mouth. No chips, cracks or crazing. Royal Albert Bone China was founded in England in 1904-1905. It’s roots go back to The Albert Works of 1895. The company changed it’s name in 1905 to honor Prince Albert of England, born in 1896.
