Sportclad Vintage Heavyweight Men's Red/Black Wool Plaid Hunting Jacket

Vintage JC Penney Sportclad men's wool hunting jacket, certainly vintage, possibly 30's- 40's but uncertain of decade. Outer side is red hunting plaid (lumberjack?). Button front, wide and high collar with button throat latch, front of jacket is about waist length, rear hem drops a bit. Snap front cargo pockets, two slash front handwarmer pockets, two rearbutton game pockets lined with waterproof material. Very good vintage condition, thick wool, stylish and functional. No missing snaps or buttons everything works great. Size is a guess since there is no size tag - about a men's large based on how it fits a 5'11 and 250 lb male tester, but please rely on the measurements shown in last photos This Jacket just feels right, and was made to last in the time period when all things were made to last. You will LOVE this Glorious vintage near antique Jacket! This Hunting jacket was used and loved and doess show signs of wear marks on cuffs as shown in last coup[le of photos.
