Vintage 1879 Minton China - William Wise Tile

William Wise Transferware Tile Country Life ~ Picking Fruit  Minton China Works Staffordshire England  ~  Dates to 1879 This Victorian 6 " x 6 " tile is transfer printed in dark blue against a white background showing good detail and good contrast. Framed in hard wood and brass, this has kept the edges in very nice condition. The tile from the Country Life series from famed Minton artist William Wise.  A young woman and child in period rural attire picking fruit beneath a huge tree. See photos for excellent condition.
