Handmade “Bahama Breeze” Porch/Lampshade Chandelier PLEASE SEE VIDEO

This is the “Bahama Breeze” shandy that was handmade by my mother who almost died two and a half years ago after being thrown from a golf cart. As a result of having a severe traumatic brain injury, loss of hearing, loss of smell, etc. this became a source of therapy for her. Hours and hours were spent on each shandy and each strand tells its own story. By me sharing this information, it is not for pity. But rather, to tell the story behind the shandy. Details about the “Bahama Breeze” shandy are as follows: There are a total of 28 strands…the longest strand is approximately 33” long. All strands are mixed with a variety of beads such as glass beads, some plastic beads, wood beads, various gemstones, real natural stones, etc. There are far less plastic beads than the rest of the beads. The strand colors are: bright yellow, bright green, white, bright blue, assorted orange colors, sage green, and assorted wood beaded strands. The lampshade is comprised of various blue, yellow, turquoise , blue,teal,and orange fabric patterns and tied on strip by strip. The lampshade itself is approximately 10” long and approximately12 1/2” wide. The shandy can be used on your porch, outside and/or even on a tall standing lamp. No matter what, it is always a statement piece.
