riq180 Why is the sole so flat? I thought they had a vibram sole with tread?

modernflex @riq180 great question. The original iron rangers came with a flat nitrile sole. I believe they introduced the mini lug sole you’re referring to in 2016. These boots are pre 2016 which is why they have a flat sole. If you Google “nitrile sole red wing iron rangers” you’ll see the flat soles. Iron rangers will last a lifetime.
