Great gift book with stories, poems, humor about Fathers and Family Life.

This little book has so many great stories, projects, poems, and recipes in its 300 pages. Most stories are just 1-2 pages. Slightly used, but in very good condition. There is humor, life lessons and historical figures. It was first published in Great Britain in 2004. Lots of remembrances from times gone by. I bought several copies of this book to give as gifts for Dads in our family. This is the last one. Even though its title is Father & Child Companion, I think Moms will get lots of chuckles and also a few tears from the stories and poems in it. May be a throwback of memories for a lot of people. I tried to take pictures of an assortment of the stories. Illustrations are similar to pictures in the Fun with Dick and Jane readers from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
