16 inches from top to bottom down the center side of the boot. Worn once. I have too high of arches...always a problem for me but otherwise a perfect fit and very comfortable. Part Leather part substantial canvas. Slight platform...half inch +/-. Very well made. Quality. Side buckle is adjustable. Room for toes, naturally...nice roomy foot bed. Zipper on the insides. I will miss them.
