This gorgeous unique one of a kind necklace is made with a crystal embellished heart taken from a Vintage Brighton Chain belt. The heart has 36 small and 4 larger Swarvocki crystals and hangs on a Vintage Brighton rolo chain and vintage Brighton spacer beads. I have included a picture of the chain belt as it looked when I bought it. The heart measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" high. The chain is 18" with a 1 1/2" extender. Brighton's jewelry and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer. One thing good about having a lacquer coating is that it never tarnishes and it makes it very resistant to scratches. Swarovski® crystals are recognized worldwide as the purist quality crystal, the most consistently cut, and the most brilliant. Other crystals simply can't compare to the brilliance of Swarovski® crystals!
